When relocating, you often don't have the luxury of looking at every conceivable area listing. At best, you might be able to see 20 to 25, so pare down your list first thing with these tips:
- Send me two lists a few days before arriving: One should be of things you require in your new home. The other should be for optional things you want. When a house can't fulfill your basic needs, we can naturally eliminate it from the list.
- Know your budget. If you are getting a mortgage, know your pre-approved amount beforehand so we can eliminate homes out of your price range.
- How long of a commute are you comfortable making each day to your job and other interests? Traffic in the Altona area could be different than what you're currently experiencing, so let me know your desired drive-time, and I'll seek out homes based on my knowledge of drive times in the area.
I can send you some best recommendations before we meet in person. Or you may already have some strong possibilities based on your own research. While seeing listing photos on the web is invaluable, there's nothing like visiting homes in person. Let me set up any necessary appointments and map a route.
